U.S. Census Office, Country Where Born (1864)

This is a table from the 1864 U.S. Census Office report following the 1860 Census, which shows U.S. immigrants' countries of origin from 1820 to 1860. We used this data to create  a 100% stacked bar graph showing the top ten regions or countries of origin of immigrants between 1820 and 1860. The graph can be viewed in these spreadsheets, along with the original table and a recreated table.
